We created a photo album below of  Bumgenius diapers, version 4.0 (latest available) demonstrating all colors with natural light at our store location. These are our own homemade photos, not staged or edited in any way. The idea is to show you exactly what they look like in person, not on a model in professional lighting.

The new color collection adds Noodle, Sweet, and Bubble. The returning colors are shown individually and in some photos they’re positioned with version 3.0 and 4.0 next to eachother to tell if there is any difference in the shade of the colors. This also allows a good show of the changes in the packaging style. The 4.0s are on hang tags where the version 3.0 diapers have the label wrapping around their middle. Also in all these example shots, the BG 4.0 are snaps and the 3.0s of course are velcro for contrast. The popular “old” colors made in both 4.0 and 3.0 are white, grasshopper, twilight, butternut, and blossom. The newer colors are pale in comparison, they strike us as subtle shades of off-white or, if you prefer, very light green, very light yellow, and pale lavender.

These diapers are one-size-fits-all from newborn to potty training, and they come in snap or Velcro closure. In person, these new addition colors seem more neutral. Bubble is a lavender but a very gentle one. Noodle is nearly off-white, and Sweet shows only a touch of green compared to the standard white. you could call sweet a “mint” and noodle more of a “cream” or “butter”. Bubble is not quite as light as these other new colors and is obviously a shade of purple, no doubt about it.

We are not pros, we just take these pics in our store with a regular camera in regular lighting, to contrast with the professional shots above.

We have an IBCLC lactation consultant on staff and offer various support groups and classes related to breastfeeding, such as “preparing to go back to work” or “transitioning to solid foods”

Driving here? The Center is less than 5 minutes from freeway 680 as it passes through Walnut Creek. We are 15 minutes from most of Berkeley and Oakland, come on highway 24 through the Caldecott Tunnel. The Nurture Center is at the Central Lafayette exit.  Our next door neighbors are Wine Thieves and Jack in the Box. suit yourself! We are open 7 days a week so if you ever have an emergency where your power adapter dies or your puppy chewed up the pump tubes or maybe you lost your car lighter power cord or some  little valves and membranes, just come right over, we always keep those items in good supply. Of course we do ship nationwide, including express overnight shipments but really, if you’re in the California Bay Area, come to the local store and get your Medela parts even faster! Besides, there is a lot of great baby gear to browse while you’re here, and we have a cozy room to nurse and weigh your little one while you visit.

bumgenius 3.0 diaper sale

This is a bit of a placeholder post, because all I can say is the hot new Bumgenius diaper products – Flip diapers and Econobum -  just arrived to our stockroom and will be posted at Tender Cargo tomorrow. Images, descriptions, prices, etc will be shown at that point. There has been such a buzz about these already! Most likely the link will be right in the Bumgenius cloth diaper section. These are not replacing the BumGenius 3.0 or organic one size diapers we carry. Those products are still being made and sold as much as ever. The Flip and Econobum are just some exciting other options to consider by the same maker.

Whew! This is one of those log posts I put off writing just because I can’t tell where to begin! The annual show of all the new childrens’ products just ended and I flex back home with a bag bursting with catalogs and order forms, there is no telling when I’ll finally sort through all that material and in the meantime all the orders we placed for hot new products are going to start shipping over. yikes!

It is easy to point out two new colors for the Butterfly 2. They’re coming next week. Also 2 new colors for Pikkolo carriers and one for Scootababy. I’m so pleased with about a dozen new color choices from Aden + Anais muslin swaddling blankets and they have the most amazing muslin sleepsack coming soon.
