We’ve just received the first 3 colors- pink dot, blue dot, and floral cafe.
They will soon be joined by solid espresso brown and paisley in pink or blue.
They come in excellent gift packaging and include a matching burp cloth. I’ll take photos of that soon because I know this will be a hot choice for holiday and shower gifts.
The other nursing cover-up we carry it The Belly Hugger . They are very different products. The Peanut Shell functions as a blanket covering over the baby and your front/back/side. The Belly Hugger is a soft, stretchy layer you wear under your shirt so that when you nurse your belly/back/side is not exposed, but it offers no coverage of baby or breast. Some people are more comfortable nursing with the complete coverage of a Peanut Shell and find it convenient that they don’t have to maneuver a blanket while doing it. Some people find it more convenient to wear the BellyHugger all day and have nothing to get out for nursing, and they use their shirt and baby’s position to be sure the front and top view of the breast is covered.

I just finished quite a project- entering the entire new fall line of Babylegs-25 new colors and we’re carrying them all.
The new Babylegs are made with organic cotton and cost $3 a pair more than they used to.
We will still carry all the $12 pairs until they sell out, but these new organics are $15.
My favorite is the first one below, “Brite” as in the beloved retro Lite Brite toy.

I’ve had my eye on this new product all year, because they keep attracting attention for finally filling a void where no good-looking products had been. I’m talking, of course, about a way to carry just a couple diapers and travel-sized wipes without having to bring the whole diaper bag along, without having to stuff them in your purse, or without having to buy some cheesy plastic container or ziploc bag that “will do”, but just barely.
This is simple and sweet- a designer fabric pocket with velcro closure to hold just your essentials, letting you travel lighter and preserve some style and individuality. At only $15, they make a good baby shower gift.
Diapees and Wipees. cool.

Just in today! A rainbow of Moby Wraps! This is an increasingly popular infant carrier choice, and no wonder! They’re only $34.95. They’re amazingly soft.
They can hold baby to you in any position you prefer- face in or out, carry twins, baby
on your back or front or hip. Nursing is easy, and covering baby as much as you need for nursing or feeding is as simple as pulling the wrap up, just like a blanket. There are no buckles or straps or fasteners. You do have to learn to tie it around yourself but the photo instructions are fabulous so that soon becomes easy, and after it’s on you, you just place baby inside and go! The lightweight stretch fabric is ideal even in warm weather, and though it goes up to 35 pounds you’ll probably want a more supportive, structured carrier about a year, like the Beco.

Our most popular Zolowear sling has been the Java Lite Silk, and so we’re adding her two sisters to our store now, the Jade and the Black butterfly. These are single layer silk brocades which look amazing for special occasions but honestly, they’re ideal for everyday use because they’re so comfortable and much sturdier than you’d think. My Java Lite is my strongest sling yet, even though I’ve been anything but gentle with it and the fabric is soft and luxurious.
People sometimes ask if they’re hot, or is the fabric thick and hard to adjust. definitely not! Zolo used to make double-layered silk, and it had those issues and that’s why they switched to single-layered and now they call it “lite”.
We’ll start shipping them at the end of this week! yay!

edit: they are here, ready to go!

We discovered some beautiful soft organic cotton knits. You’ll immediately notice their amazing quality, it’s such a soft, flawless feel! To start we’ll have hats, socks, blankets and dolls. The company is the next project for the woman who made Burt’s Bees.

Giselle is a chocolate brown girls shoe accented with dots in three exciting colors!
Ethan is a new boys’ style offered in cool camo and a rich brown suede.
Already popular in brown/tan and brown/orange, Liam is now made in olive and khaki.
